Starting in 2007 age categories were dropped
from the fishing derby. Instead of a couple kids winning
medals, now every kid that catches a fish wins a medal.
We handed out over 200 medals in 2007 and 147
in 2008, compared to 16 medals handed out in 2006.
Trophies are handed out for biggest fish for
each fishing derby.
